Pioneering UK eco motor show ‘EcoVelocity’ to run for second year, ExCel, London May 10-13 2012. Following the successful launch of the UK’s first eco motor show Ecovelocity in 2011, the organisers of the ground-breaking show IGME have announced details for year two - the show will move from its inaugural launch location of Battersea Power Station to ExCeL, London and will run from May 10th through to the 13th 2012.

EcoVelocity, the UK’s first eco motoring festival held at Battersea Power Station last week, delivered the UK’s largest ever eco test drive event, with almost 7,000 consumer drives of electric, low and ultra low carbon vehicles on the bespoke test track.

London could be saved four thousand tonnes of CO2 pollution every week* if all of the Capital’s black cabs were 100% electric, according to the low carbon motor show, EcoVelocity (Sept 8-11).

Citroën was the first major car brand to sign up to appear at this year’s EcoVelocity motor show on September 8-11.
