Dow showcased its growing family of high-performance materials for the 5G ecosystem, including innovations in thermal management materials; conformal coatings and encapsulants; and EMI shielding, at Productronica China 2021.

Dow has introduced the new DOWSIL VE-8001 Flexible Silicone Adhesive for flexible and foldable displays, smartphones, wearables, laptops, televisions and many other types of electronic devices.

Dow has introduced new DOWSIL EA-3838 Fast Adhesive, an advanced primerless silicone adhesive that cures rapidly without oven heat for improved productivity and reduced energy usage in the manufacture of appliances, automotive electronics, lighting and avionics.

At CES Asia 2019, Dow Performance Silicones, unveiled two new optical bonding solutions for automotive and consumer displays exposed to harsh environmental conditions. They include DOWSIL VE-2003 UV Optical Bonding Material, designed to bond a glass or plastic display cover and touch panel to the LCD or OLED display module, and DOWSIL VE-4001 UV Electrode Protective Resin, which protects electrodes on the display module.

A global specialist in silicones and silicon-based technology, Dow, has further expanded its portfolio of protective pottants with the launch of new, heat-resistant dielectric gels under the DOWSIL label: EG-4000, EG-4100 and EG-4120. Dow Corning CI-2001 white reflective coating is a highly reflective optical coating that delivers good resistance to environmental aging and enhances LED light output and efficiency.
