Distrelec has added the new drop-in replacement GMOV hybrid protection component from Bourns, leading global manufacturer of electrical components, to the web shop. Promising to solve the lifespan, safety and reliability issues of metal oxide varistors (MOVs), the new GMOV component is a highly reliable overvoltage protection replacement solution.

Distrelec has rapidly expanded its range of memory IC’s with Alliance Memory. Alliance Memory manufactures memory products that are pin for pin drop-in replacements for brands such as Micron, Samsung and Hynix. The brand’s product portfolio includes a full range of 3.3 and 5V asynchronous SRAMs used with mainstream digital signal processors (DSPs).

Recognising the importance of entwining technological advancements and environmental sustainability, Distrelec has added the UnitedSiC range of high-performance, energy-efficient SiC FET, JFET and Schottky diodes to the web shop. Distrelec has further expanded their assortment of power inductors with KEMET Electronics’ METCOM MPX Series. KEMET’s new technology is defined by its low direct current rate, making it one of the company’s most efficient series of inductors.
