DILAS Delivers New Homogenized Conduction-Cooled, Line-Source at 600W, 880nm
DILAS, the diode laser company, is now delivering a new conduction-cooled, multi-bar, line source module with a homogeneous top hat optical beam profile in the slow-axis and diffraction limited profile in the fast-axis. This module is capable of 600W power output in 880nm +/-5nm.
An Overview of Diode Lasers for Defense Applications
Diode lasers emitting from the visible red to 2.2 microns and beyond have broad utility in the defense space. Pumping applications range from fiber and solid state directed energy laser weapons including DPALs, eye safe lasers to include LIDAR, to infrared counter measures. Direct diode uses include illuminators from the near IR to the eye safe regime as well as countermeasures.
COMPACT Diode Laser System Series With Extended Beam Quality
DILAS Industrial Laser Systems have introduced a new diode laser system based on a diode laser module with an optical output power of 30W CW and increased beam quality.
DILAS Introduces New Macro-Channel-Cooled QCW High-Power Vertical Diode Laser Stack Product Line
DILAS introduces a high duty cycle device that allows for long pulse length for hair removal or high energy applications. From the parameter field defined by duty cycle, power and pulse length this device starts at 200W, 808nm and 300W, 940nm at 2% duty cycle / 2ms up to up to 60W per bar at 808nm and 175W per bar at 940nm at 20% / 75ms.
DILAS Offers Multi-Color Wavelengths in its Conduction-Cooled Multi-Bar Fiber-Coupled Modules
DILAS has expanded its comprehensive family of conduction cooled fiber-coupled modules. The new module produces up to 36W CW, combined from 3 wavelengths, 1470nm, 1510nm and 1550nm from a single 400μm NA 0.22 fiber.
DILAS Expands Wavelength to 1940nm for its QCW High-Power Vertical Diode Laser Stack Product Line
DILAS announces the expansion of its QCW high-power vertical diode laser stacked arrays. These devices are now available at 1940nm with power ranges up to 12W QCW per bar and optional fastaxis collimation.
Fiber Coupled Diode Laser Beam Parameter Product Calculation and Rule for Optimized Design
It is desirable to calculate the 'diagonal' (fiber) BPP, using the BPPs of the fast and slow axes before detailed design and simulation processes. A commonly used expression derived in an earlier work has been found to consistently under-predict the fiber BPP (i.e. better beam quality is predicted than is actually achievable in practice). In this paper, using a simplified model, we provide the proof of the proper calculation of the diagonal compo...
DILAS Unveils New MINI Diode Laser System
DILAS Industrial Laser Systems announces the release of a new integrated diode laser system based on fiber-coupled modules.
