Bluetooth SoC used in cyclocomputer for cyclists

45W LED driver for dimmable SSL applications

Addressing dimming performance, heat and cost in high power, dimmable solid state lighting applications, the iW3600 is a single-stage LED driver. Introduced by Dialog Semiconductor, the 45W output LED driver seamlessly dims from 100% down to 1% of measured light with virtually no dead travel and offers low pop-on current to turn light on at very low dimmer levels (less than 5% of light output).

Audio codec meets the needs of 'wearables' market

A low power audio codec, the DA7212, has been launched by Dialog Semiconductor. The company claims that the codec has unsurpassed always-on power consumption to enable ‘voice trigger’ activated applications. The DA7212 is a 24 bit audio CODEC that supports digital or analogue MEMS microphones and offers a number of DSP features including ALC, 5 band EQ and noise gate.

AC/DC adapter interface IC can reach efficiency up to 88%

Designed for Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0 power supplies, DIalog Semiconductor announces the iW620 AC/DC adapter interface IC. The IC resides on the secondary side of the AC/DC charger power supply and works with Dialog’s iW1760 PrimAccurate primary-side digital PWM controller.

Adapter boasts thinnest and smallest 45W design

Allowing for less than one-half the overall volume and claiming to be 50% thinner than conventional 45W adapters, Dialog's 45W power adapter has been released alongside a 12W travel-size power adapter. Designed for use with Ultrabooks, the 12W design enables the first compact, pocket-size adapters for an Ultrabook at just 68mm x 68mm x 17mm thick, with a typical charge time under five hours.
