DFI joined Microsoft Azure Certified for IoT, offering customers IoT solutions with hardware and software that has been pre-tested and verified to work with Microsoft Azure IoT services. Microsoft Azure IoT is an integrated tool to manage IoT applications which include cloud data storage, security system and platform services.

DFI introduces its latest COM Express Type 6 module powered by the Intel Pentium/Celeron Processor N3000 Family – BW968. When compared to previous generations, the latest Compact supports 3 independent displays up to 4x2K with a lower 4-6W TDP and it targets cost-effective applications, including entry-level gaming, banking, ticket machine and digital signage.

DFI has announced four embedded boards and it includes: two Mini-ITX motherboards, one single board computer (SBC) and one 2.5” Pico-ITX powered by the latest Intel Pentium/Celeron processor N3000 family. Based on this low power platform, designed for mid to entry level systems, these boards deliver enhanced graphics capabilities and premium performance averaging just 6W TDP.

DFI introduces its latest three COM Express Type 6 modules powered by the 6th Generation Intel Core processor family (codename Skylake), including Mobile-based Basic – SH960-QM170 and SH960-HM170 and U series SoC-based Compact – SU968.

DFI is introducing thirteen industrial motherboards based on the 6th Generation Intel Core processor family (codename Skylake) and built on Intel’s 14nm process technology. DFI's board lineup covers a range of platforms including: powerful workstations, cost-effective desktops and low thermal U-series processors to satisfy various requirements in embedded applications.

  In order to help the customers achieve time-to-market goals as well as reducing total-cost-of-ownership in the field of high-end pharmacy POS application, DFI’s embedded board (with product longevity and high reliability) deployed a flexible and innovative solution to cater to all the requirements of customisable POS terminal.

Targeting energy-saving IoT and mobile applications, the N3000 Intel Pentium/Celeron family of motherboards has been introduced by DFI. Based on Intel’s new 14nm packing technology, the devices are able to deliver ultra-low power consumption and provide better computing and graphic performance compared to previous generations. 

DFI has introduced a range of products based on 6th Gen Intel Core processor family, including 12 industrial motherboards, two SBCs, four COM Express modules and one compact ULT-based embedded system.

  A 10.1’’ industrial tablet which offers a full touch-centric experience has been released by DFI. Alongside barcode reader options, the Android-powered ART101 is equipped with NFC.

A highly ruggedised, versatile and high-performing embedded system, the EC500 series, has been introduced by DFI. Designed to help industrial companies evolve into next-gen production with intelligence, security, optimisation and energy efficiency, the rugged and fanless design provides 24/7 reliability, silent operation and outstanding MTBF.

DFI has introduced an industrial panel PC, based on Intel Atom N2800 processor, which provides better data processing and lower power consumption in comparison to the last generation of Intel processors. The KS104-CD is available in both 5-wire resistive and projected capacitive 10.4” LCD true-flat touch screen panel to meet a diverse range of needs.

Targeting for the IoT network and Industry 4.0 application, DFI has launched six industrial Ethernet switches to provide versatile copper and fibre Ethernet connectivity. These compact size switches are equipped with a ruggedised design and a wide operating temperature range from -40 to +70°C making them suited for industrial-grade and mission-critical environments such as factory automation and surveillance.

Offering outstanding graphics performance and power efficiency for embedded systems, the BE170, BE171 and BE173 APU-based Mini-ITX boards have been introduced by DFI. The AMD R-series APUs feature AMD Radeon HD9000 Graphics technology providing immersive HD multimedia interactivity, and delivering up to 55% improved 3D graphics performance than the previous-generation.

An IP65-rated fanless panel PC powered by the Intel Atom E3800 SoC processor with 22nm process technology has been released by DFI. The KS150-BT features a 15” LCD true-flat touch screen panel, which is available in both a five-wire resistive and projected capacitive version.

Intel H81-based motherboards, which support the 4th gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3, Intel Pentium and Intel Celeron processors up to 65W TDP, have been introduced by DFI. The Mini-ITX, microATX and ATX boards feature a maximum of 6 PCIe lanes.

  Industrial boards based on the 4th gen Intel Core U processor has been introduced by DFI. The processor allows the motherboards, embedded SBCs and COM Express Compact to offer improved CPU capability, graphics, security and I/O flexibility. 

DFI has introduced its latest ARM-based products, a 7” Touch Panel PC, KS210-IMX6, and a 10.1” Touch Panel PC, KS310-IMX6. The two fanless Touch Panel PCs utilise Freescale i.MX 6 Cortex-A9 core processors with speeds of up to 1.0GHz. Based on the open-source Android OS, system integrators and software developers will find it easy to develop application programmes.

DFI has announced the arrival of HD171-H81 and HD173-H81, two industrial-grade Mini-ITX motherboards powered by the 4th gen Intel Core with Intel H81 chipset. The Intel HD Graphics engine integrated into these 4th gen Intel Core processors provides a seamless visual experience, including superior gaming image quality, vibrant HD video playback, and increased overall speed and performance.
