Innovative optical products and solutions have been brought to the US broadcast market for the first time by Densitron, who will be on stand C9032 demonstrating its new strategic commitment to the industry. Its stand will highlight a rich selection of displays with exceptionally high resolution, contrast and brightness, featuring some of the most advanced display and touchscreen technology available.

Two E-paper products have been added to Densitron's Spectra family of three-pigment, black, white and red EPDs. With increasing demand for EPD’s offering additional colour as a means of drawing attention to specific messages on a device or signage, these products are suited to industrial, smart card, signage and identification badge applications.

In the upcoming Electronica Exhibition, Densitron’s proprietary E-paper Evaluation Kit and RipDraw Display and Design Solution will be unveiled. These new offerings promise to significantly reduce product development time and cost. Densitron will also introduce its new optical bonding facility and capability to add cover lenses or PCTs to any display using a reworkable process

Densitron now offers a wide range of Mono OLED displays, covering screen sizes from 0.66” to 5.5”. Comprehensive technical support on this range is available to design engineers. Apart from Mono OLED displays, Densitron also supplies Alphanumeric and Full Colour OLEDs.

The latest Densitron High Brightness TFT range covers display sizes of 4.3” (DET043QQNTNT0-1A), 5.7” (DET057VGHLNT0-1A), 7” (DET070WVHTNT0-1A) and 10.1” (DET101WSNLNT0-1A). Further screen sizes will follow shortly and all modules in the range also come in standard brightness options.

The versatility of OLED displays is evident through their adoption by companies across a broad spectrum of industries. Current users of the recently discontinued Seiko Instruments (SII) TFT displays will be pleased to know that Densitron is developing a range of industrial grade TFTs that can be used as drop-in replacements for the obsolete parts. These Densitron-exclusive models cover the entire existing SII display range of sizes between 2” and 7”, with resistive touch versions available.
