Longstanding DEK Solar team member, Martin Hewson, has been appointed as the company’s new Business Unit Manager –Alternative Energy Systems. The new role has been created in response to a growing demand for the PV specialist’s technologies and will be charged with developing technologies and processes to enhance current competitive differentiators even further, including reduced lead times, product quality and customer service.

Addressing growing demand for its state-of-the-art LED lighting solutions, leading LED systems integrator, Norlux, recently expanded its capability with the addition of a DEK Horizon 03iX printing platform. Key evaluation criteria included accuracy, repeatability, flexibility, vision capability, throughput and customer service – all of which DEK delivered with a clear competitive advantage, thus securing the Norlux business.

DEK announced that it has again expanded its global stencil network. Huntsville, Alabama-based DEK stencil technology franchisee and VectorGuard licensee, AGI, has added a second manufacturing location in Tampa, Florida, an event that was celebrated with a Technology Open House on November 3, 2010.

DEK has launched a brand new addition to its popular range of VectorGuard® stencils. Known as VectorGuard 3D, the new stencil is designed for specialist applications requiring multiple level printing.
