Sensor family aids power measurement accuracy
National Instruments (NI) says it has selected Danisense products as its preferred current measurement sensor family for use with its RM-269994-channel power measurements conditioner. The Danisense DS50UB-10V, DS200UB-10V, DS600UB-10V and DS2000UB-10V current transducers features high accuracy, high bandwidth and low phase shift which are key requirements for accurate power measurement.
Current transducers provide immunity to magnetic fields
Danisense has announced that its current transducers have been used by teams at CERN as part of a significant upgrade programme. The Danisense zero-flux DC current transducers (DCCT) are used in the design of QTRIM power supplies for the PS booster accelerator which are part of a chain of accelerators that inject the beam into the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) at the European Laboratory for Particle Physics.
Achieving very precise measurement
There are many different types of current measurement technologies, from basic shunt and Hall Effect devices to more complex systems, explains Loic Moreau, Danisense
