Low-Power 2.4-GHz WirelessUSB-NL Solution chosen for Wireless Mouse and Keyboard Set
Cypress has today revealed that Lite-On has selected Cypress’s 2.4-GHz WirelessUSB-NL radio-on-a-chip for its next-generation wireless keyboard and mouse set. WirelessUSB-NL’s low power consumption enables two AA batteries to power the mouse and keyboard for up to three years. The long range of WirelessUSB-NL also enables the wireless mouse and keyboard set to operate at a distance of up to 30 meters.
DDR3 AGIGARAM Non-Volatile DIMM Solutions from AgigA Tech
AgigA Tech, a subsidiary of Cypress, has today unveiled its third-generation DDR3 AGIGARAM Non-Volatile DIMM solution supporting up to 1600 MT/s (megatransfers per second) performance. In addition, AgigA Tech announced that the United States Patent and Trademark Office has recently issued U.S. Patent Nos. 8,200,885 and 8,200,929 pertaining to Hybrid Non-Volatile RAM technology, adding to the company’s rapidly growing patent portfolio.
Cypress' EZ-USB FX3 Controller chosen by YUAN for Full HD USB 3.0 Raw Data Capture Box
Cypress have today revealed that YUAN has selected the EZ-USB FX3 controller for its UB530 USB 3.0 high-definition video capture box. The UB530 stores video input from a variety of sources, including set-top boxes, media players, HD cameras and game consoles. Cypress’s FX3 solution provides a USB 3.0 device bridge to allow full HD data transfer and streaming at 5 Gbps.
