CUI has announced a line of wall plug-in AC/DC power supplies for the US, Japanese and European markets. The SWI6, SWI12, SWI18 and SWI24 with either North American or European input blades are designed to meet the stringent average efficiency and no load power requirements mandated by the US Department of Energy (DOE) set to go into effect on the 10th of February, 2016.

CUI has announced an addition to its line of 1100W front-end power supplies to include DC input versions. The PSD-1100-12 series delivers high power density and achieves Platinum efficiency in a compact slim line 1U package measuring just 40x54.5x321.3mm. The narrow profile allows designers to minimise application space compared to larger solutions on the market.

CUI Inc has announced the expansion of its 3000W front-end AC/DC power supply series with the addition of the PSE-3000-54, targeting Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The power supply is preset to output 54VDC with a factory-adjustable output from 42 to 55V, making the model suitable for a wide range of telecomms and networking applications.

The PSA-1100-12 delivers a power density of 1,55W/cm3 and achieves efficiencies approaching 94% in a compact slim line 1U package measuring just 40x54.5x321.3mm. The narrow profile allows designers to minimise application space compared to larger solutions on the market.

Introducing 50 and 65W models, CUI has expanded its Level VI desktop AC/DC power supply family. Set to go into effect in February 2016 in the US, the Level VI standards mandated by the US DoE aim to lower the amount of power consumed when the end application is not in use or is no longer connected to the system. The SDI50-U and SDI65-U series meet these more stringent efficiency and no load power requirements.

CUI has announced the introduction of a 3000W front-end AC/DC power supply for mission critical (N+1) redundant applications. The PSE-3000-48 delivers a power density of 2.04W/cm3 and achieves Platinum efficiency in a standard 1U package measuring 40.64x101.6x355.6mm. The power supply is preset to output 48VDC with an adjustable output from 42 to 55V for wireless and broadcast applications.

CUI has announced the enhancement of its 90 and 120W desktop AC/DC power supply series, designed to meet the new Level VI efficiency standards. The SDI90-U and SDI120-U series' meet the more stringent average efficiency and no load power requirements set to go into effect in February 2016.

At APEC 2015, CUI introduced its highest current digital POL module to date, the NDM3Z-90. Designed specifically to address the rapidly-rising power requirements of today’s most advanced ICs, the device is a non-isolated module outputting 90A in ultra low-profile vertical and horizontal packages.

CUI have released right angle versions of it's SIP AC/DC power supplies, which are available in 1 (PBK-1-XX-B), 3 (PBK-3-XX-B) and 5W (PBK-5-XX-B). The PBK-B family of power supplies measure as small as 35x25x13mm, making them suitable for boards with a limited space. Offered in single output voltages of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 15 and 24VDC, the power supplies operate at AC input voltages between 85-264VAC.

At electronica 2014, 11th to 14th November in Munich, Germany, CUI will demonstrate a fully digital power system based on the Novum Advanced Power modules.

Expanding the company's VOF series of compact, open frame AC/DC power supplies, CUI has introduced 100, 120 and 150W models. Compared to its previous offering, the single-output supplies have been designed to provide higher efficiencies, improved no-load performance, and higher-power.

CUI have announced the release of a new AC/DC power supply family targeting applications that demand 100% uptime. Available in 75 W, 100 W and 155 W configurations, the PSF series is designed with built-in battery charging and back-up functionality.  Under normal operating conditions, the units are able to charge the stand-by battery and also supply direct power to the load.
