A new infographic that looks at the history of Britain’s roads has just been released by Cubis Systems (below), a European manufacturer of access chambers. It explores as far back as 43AD, when the Romans began work on the national road network, up to modern day Britain as we plan a new age of the smart motorway.

At the RailTex exhibition, which is taking place from 9th to 11th May at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, European manufacturer of rail network access chambers, covers and cable protection, Cubis Systems, will be exhibiting.
