Partnership helps to halve energy consumption

A partnership between a Russian lighting company and CP Electronics brought a 50% saving in energy usage to a new warehouse in Tyumen, Russia. DEUS LLC and CP Electronics worked with the X5 Retail Group at its 30,000sqm distribution centre, providing a lighting system that was fully compatible with DEUS’ own DALI control system.

Mid range PIR offers increased detection range for up to 15m

CP Electronics has developed a new range of ceiling-mounted, mid-range passive infrared (PIR) detectors that allow presence detection for ranges up to 15m. Drawing on the success of CP’s acclaimed series of ceiling mounted PIR presence detectors, the company’s EBDMR features a domed lens which allows for greater detection. This design feature is particularly effective when the product is installed within large open plan spaces.
