Conrad Energy continues to enable the UK’s energy transition with the announcement that their first significant strategic solar development has been awarded planning approval.

Conrad Energy, a portfolio company of I Squared Capital and an independent power producer focused on flexible power generation, battery storage and energy management services, have announced the acquisition of the leading software provider in the flexible power generation market, TGG Solutions.

Conrad Energy and GE Renewable Energy have signed a major framework agreement for the design, manufacture, and supply of GE’s battery energy storage system in the UK. This agreement reflects the commitment of Conrad Energy and GE to supporting the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy and is the next step for Conrad Energy in the build out of their growing 500MW battery pipeline.
