Following the acquisition of Minneapolis-based Ault Power Supplies by SL Industries in February and the subsequent merger with its existing power supply manufacturer, Condor DC Power, SL announces the formation of a new company that will embrace both power brands.

SL INDUSTRIES has announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire all of the outstanding shares of common stock of Ault Incorporated (NASDAQ:AULT) (approximately 4,861,000 shares) for $2.90 per share in cash. SL Industries already owns Condor DC Power.

Condor Power has opened its European headquarters in the United Kingdom. The decision to establish a European facility follows a sustained period of growth and the need to more fully support Condor’s customer base and distribution network across the region.

Condor has announced a new generation of cost effective, compact (50 x 100 x 24mm) single output power supplies.

In what many will see as “very much against the industry trend” Condor Power is extending its family of linear power supplies with RoHS compliant variants aimed at both the commercial and medical systems markets.

Condor announces a new range of single output power supplies designed specifically for use in medical applications. Called the GSM11 series, the new units are housed in an industry standard 2.28 x 2.0 x 0.7in package and, at 11W, they offer 57% more power than previous models of this size.
