CMOS image sensor supports 8k image resolution
CMOSIS, a member of the ams AG group, launched the CMV50000, an industry first global shutter CMOS image sensor offering high resolution of 48Mpixels, more than twice the resolution of its previous generation CMOSIS global shutter CMOS image sensors. The CMV50000 is a medium format 48Mpixels sensor with 7920 x 6002 4.6-µm sized pixels using the patented 8-transistor pixel architecture to offer low noise and excellent electronic shutter...
CMOSIS acquires AWAIBA
CMOSIS has announced that it has acquired all outstanding shares of AWAIBA. AWAIBA develops and markets innovative line-scan CMOS imagers for industrial web inspection, sub-mm CMOS camera modules for endoscopy and on-board automotive cameras. The transaction was closed on the 4th August 2014.
NIR enhanced image sensor boasts 300fps at full resolution
Boasting 300fps at full resolution, the CMV12000 image sensor has been launched by CMOSIS. The NIR enhanced, 12-Megapixel CMOS image sensor suits a broad range of applications such as broadcasting, intelligent traffic solutions, machine vision and motion capture. At ISS 2014, held in the Pacifico Yokohama, CMOSIS demonstrated the NIR enhanced CMV12000 at Booth 57.
CMOS image sensor captures 8MP images at 105fps
At VisionChina Shanghai 2014, CMOSIS announced the CMV8000 high-speed 8MP, 105fps image sensor. Available in monochrome and RGB coloured versions, this CMOS image sensor is targeted at the demanding markets of machine vision, traffic ITS, microscopy, security and surveillance and medical applications.
TowerJazz and CMOSIS Announce Ramp to Volume Production for CMOSIS’ 12-megapixel CMV12000
CMOSIS announced the ramp to volume production for CMOSIS’ 12-megapixel CMV12000, following the very successful volume production earlier of its CMV products. In 2010, CMOSIS and TowerJazz announced collaboration on the CMV product line, the flagship product family of CMOSIS. Since its introduction, the CMV product family has been very successful in gaining market share.
High-resolution, High-dynamic-range 24-MP CMOS image sensor
CMOSIS has developed a CMOS image sensor exclusively for Leica Camera geared to an important volume market. The new “Leica M” digital camera launched at Photokina 2012 incorporates the full-custom CMOSIS “Leica MAX 24MP CMOS Sensor” featuring 24 Megapixels across an active sensor area of 36 x 24 mm², corresponding to the full-frame 35mm format. The sensor is the first milestone in a long term, strategic cooperation between Leica Camera A...
CMOSIS expands its CMV global shutter CMOS image sensor family
CMOSIS today introduced a 20-Megapixel image sensor for demanding, industrial applications. With the introduction of the CMV20000, CMOSIS broadens its current CMV portfolio of high-performing global shutters CMOS image sensors addressing the high-resolution segment of the industrial vision applications as well.
CMOSIS CHR70M: Ultra-high-resolution CMOS Industrial Image Sensor
At Vision 2011, CMOSIS will introduce its new ultra-high-resolution image sensor CHR70M. The new CMOS sensor offers an image area of 10,000 by 7,096 active pinned photodiode pixels having a pixel pitch of 3.1µm x 3.1µm, in a 2-pixel sharing pattern. The sensor offers a frame rate of 3 fps at full resolution. Application areas include ultra-high-resolution industrial imaging, such as flat-panel and PCB inspection, document scanning and high-reso...
