CETECOM has expanded its service portfolio for testing and certification of medical technology products. CETECOM, the premiere wireless test and certification lab, has been accredited by GlobalPlatform as one of the first laboratories globally to perform tests according to the eUICC v2.1 Compliance Test Suite v1.0.

Vodafone renewed CETECOM’s accreditation for performing OTA testing for RF Performance V2.5 and LTE V2.0. With this accreditation renewal, CETECOM is still able to offer its customers competent performing tests according to Vodafone Specification for Terminals on Over the Air RF Performance V2.5 and Vodafone OTA RF Performance Requirements for LTE V2.0.

CETECOM has validated the test cases for 3GPP TS 26.132 / 26.131 for the newest release 12. Beside the GSM/UMTS bearer the test cases can now be processed officially also through an LTE carrier. The validation is based on the GCF Work Item GCF WI-221, “Voice over LTE (VoLTE) Quality and these test cases are now mandatory for devices, which support release 12 and wideband.

The Wi-Fi Alliance has authorised CETECOM to perform Wi-Fi CERTIFIED Passpoint (Release 2) certification testing. CETECOM’s Silicon Valley facility now handles 17 certification programs - more than any other lab in the United States.

CETECOM has increased testing capacity to service the growing demand for mobile communications (GSM, W-CDMA and LTE). CETECOM is an accredited laboratory (ATL) for all of these technical standards in North America, Europe and Asia.
