Benchtop temperature measurement gets more accessible
The PyroMiniUSB, a new USB infrared temperature sensor from Calex Electronics Ltd, makes non-contact temperature measurement in benchtop, laboratory and education applications easier and more accessible than ever before. This low-cost miniature sensor measures surface temperature with 1°C accuracy and with an instantaneous 125 ms response time.
Sensor enables smartphone app to check temperatures
The new PyroNFC from Calex Elecronics is a small, low-cost infrared temperature sensor that lets engineers and machine operators use a smartphone app to check temperature measurements on the production line. The PyroNFC sensor measures the temperature of surfaces in industrial processes without contact, and at just 29 mm in length, it is the smallest sensor that Calex has ever produced.
Infrared pyrometer measures temperatures down to 350 degrees C
The new PyroMini 0.9 infrared pyrometer makes it possible to measure the temperature of reflective metals and semiconductors, as low as 350°C, at low cost and without contact. The pyrometer can view into a vacuum chamber through a quartz or glass window, and measure the temperature of the surface of the silicon wafer.
Sensor meets need for precise temperature control

Non-Contact Measurements in Tyre Manufacturing Using the PyroCouple Infrared Temperature Sensor
Infrared temperature sensors from the Calex PyroCouple Series are being used by a major tyre manufacturer to detect the presence of hot rubber tyre material as it passes a point on a conveyor. The tyre material is transported in two thin bands on a cooled aluminium conveyor. A Calex PyroCouple model PC301MT-0 infrared temperature sensor is positioned above the conveyor, and is aimed so that both bands are contained in its field of view.
New Calex PyroUSB 2.2 Infrared Pyrometer for Demanding Applications including Low Temperature Metals
