binder’s HEC Series 696 circular connector series now includes a protective conduit hose fitting for applications where cables and single wires need to be protected when installed in harsh environments. When fitted, the conduit hose protects to IP68/IPX9K and, according to binder, it can be retrofitted to existing installations when the need arises.

binder just announced an addition to its HEC Series 696 circular connector series. The HEC Series (for Harsh Environment Connector) is a UL connector designed to provide high resistance to salt spray, temperature fluctuations, ozone and other pollutants.

M16 connectors are widely used in test and measurement and control applications as well as medical and audio technology. The Series 680, 723 use a standard M16 panel cut-out and, according to binder, are intermateable with all M16 plug and cable components.

Designed around a plastic housing, the 814 and 813 Series feature pre-wired male and female panel mount connectors for power applications across a wide variety of automation installations. The binder 814 and 813 Series are available in both S and T coding – S for an AC supply with PE connection and T for a DC supply.

The latest M16 circular connector from binder is a square flange version designed to mount through thick front panels such as those found in control systems across all types of industrial installations. The new binder Series 723 square flange connector is available with solder or crimp terminations or pre-wired and, importantly, it is compatible with all binder M16 connectors.
