BayWa r.e.divests French wind farms

BayWa r.e. has sold Eole de Plan Fleury and Les Renardières wind farms to Innergex Renewable Energy , a developer, owner and operator of renewable energy projects, and Régime de rentes du Mouvement Desjardins, a Québec-based private pension plan. This follows the sale of the Montjean Theil-Rabier wind farm to the same partners last year and continues the successful relationship between the companies.

BayWa r.e. puts projects with output of 76MWp into operation in UK

BayWa r.e. has successfully connected seven solar farms to the grid in the UK. Sale of solar farms is BayWa r.e’s largest single transaction

BayWa r.e. has sold three British solar farms to Allianz Renewable Energy Fund II („AREF II“) managed by Allianz Global Investors. This represents the largest single transaction to date for BayWa r.e.’s project business. Combined, the three solar farms have a total output of around 100MWp. BayWa r.e. has now successfully sold all of the solar projects which it completed in Great Britain in the spring of last year.

BayWa r.e. sells 12 MW wind farm in France

BayWa r.e. has sold the wind farm St Fraigne, some 140 kilometres North of Bordeaux, to FPCI Capenergie 3 fund managed by Omnes Capital. This follows the sale of the 8 MW St. Congard wind farm to Omnes Capital in August 2016. The wind farm with a total output of 12 MW consists of 6 Enercon wind turbines of type E82 with a hub height of 108 metres. In 2013, the wind turbines were equipped with "trailing edge serrations".

BayWa r.e. signs power purchase agreements for five solar parks

  BayWa r.e. has been able to secure five power purchase agreements (PPAs) for solar parks in southern England and Wales. At the end of September, the company signed the long term PPAs, which allow for the sale of power generated for a period of 15 years.

BayWa r.e. sells 30 MW wind farm in the UK

BayWa r.e. has sold its 29.7 MW Fraisthorpe wind farm, situated near Bridlington. The site has been acquired by funds managed by the UK investment fund manager Octopus Investments, one of the UK’s largest investors in renewable energy. New wind farm now fully operational

Fraisthorpe Wind Farm in Bridlington, located 40 miles east of York, began full commercial operations in June 2016. The consented site owned by BayWa r.e. was bought from the previous developer back in December 2014. The development was then finalised and construction commenced in March 2015.
