High temperature oscillators cover range of frequencies
A range of high temperature oscillators from Euroquartz is on sale at Astute Electronics. The high shock resistant SMD oscillators have frequencies of 320kHz to 50MHz (CXOHT), 200kHz to 50MHz (CXOMKHT) and 1MHz to 50MHz (CXOXHT). They can operate from -55 to +200˚C with a stability of 200ppm at the top temperature. At lower temperatures, the stability is even better at 150ppm for +175˚C and 100ppm for +150˚C.
USB connectors are impervious to water
A range of waterproof USB connectors from Amphenol LTW Technology has been introduced by Astute Electronics. The range includes USB 3.0 A, 2.0 A and 2.0 B types, plus Mini USB 2.0 B and Micro USB 2.0 AB models. All versions are waterproof to IP67 or IP68 with a current rating of 1.5A. Devices have gold-plated copper alloy contacts and the connector body is made from PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) to UL94V-0 flammability.
Microdisplay deploys low voltage technology

Miniature connectors handle currents up to 20A per contact
Astute Electronics is delivering Positronic’s Dragonfly range of miniature connectors with power and/or signal contacts. Configurable with size 16, 20 or 22 contacts, the connectors can handle currents up to 20A per contact. Combo-D connectors are waterproof & IP67 rated
Astute Electronics is now stocking a waterproof version of Positronic’s Combo-D mixed power/signal connector family. The WCBD series connectors maintain a rating of IP67 making them ideally-suited to non-sheltered and outdoor applications.
Optical terminations target military commercial use
Mil-PRF-29504 qualified optical terminal products for either Mil-C-38999 or ARINC 600/404 connector systems developed by XiOPtics Optical Solutions are available from sole UK distributor, Astute Electronics.
