Expanding its HS range of power resistors, ARCOL has announced a water cooled resistor with a capability of 600W for very high power applications. The high-power, aluminium-housed resistors offer an impressive balance of pulse power capability versus package size - at the top-end of the power range, the HS300 has a power rating of 300W, packaged within an aluminium housing measuring just 45.5x41.8x141mm.

US-based Ohmite and UK-based ARCOL to both offer their combined ranges of high-power resistors following the acquisition of ARCOL by the HEICO group of companies.
