Antennas meet high bandwidth consumer entertainment demand
Antenova has announced two antennas for the 802.11a/b/g/n/ac wireless standard, the Sharpi (part no. SRC5G027) and the Trogona (part no. SR42W009). The antennas are designed for the profusion of high bandwidth applications emerging in the consumer entertainment sector - specifically set-top boxes, IPTV and content streaming devices - all of which are seeing strong growth, in parallel with the roll-out of fibre to the home and the increase of IPTV...
Antenova ships first orders for the TransferJet coupler
Antenova has announced that it is shipping its first orders for the TransferJet coupler, Zoma, which the company announced in September 2015, and is collaborating with partner Icoteq to build TransferJet designs for customers worldwide. The Zoma coupler (part no SR4T014) measures just 4x4x0.4mm, which Antenova believes is probably the smallest coupler available in the market.
Printed circuit antennas cover the 3G, 4G & LTE bands
Antenova has introduced three flexible printed circuit antennas to cover the 3G, 4G and LTE bands, the company’s first flexible antennas for 4G and LTE. Together, this set of three antennas offers options for all of the world’s 4G and LTE bands, as well as a choice of antenna shape and size.
Flexible FPC antennas target 3G mobile data market
Antenova is targeting the fast increasing 3G mobile device market with two flexible PCB antennas for 3G and MIMO. Both antennas operate at GSM850, GSM900, DCS1800, PCS1900 and WCDMA2100 and will provide full coverage of the 3G bands in all world regions.
Similis SMD antenna is introduced at Embedded World 2016
As the doors open for Embedded World 2016, Antenova, manufacturer of antennas and RF antenna modules for M2M and the IoT, is revealing a new SMD antenna called Similis, which offers a low profile solution for 3G, LTE and MIMO applications. The Similis antenna measures just 40 x 10 x 1.6mm, making it literally half the height of the popular Lucida which Antenova introduced last year.
Antenova set to exhibit at embedded world
Antenova will be exhibiting from Hall 5 Stand 141 at embedded world 2016 in Nuremburg, Germany, from 23rd to 25th February. The company will be showcasing: an antenna solution for the TransferJet close-proximity wireless standard; flexible, FPC antennas for WLAN, ISM, Cellular/LTE and GNSS; positioning and tracking solutions (antennas and modules); LTE/4G antennas; and Similis – a brand new antenna for 3G, LTE and MIMO with a very low profi...
Flexible antennas suit GNSS & 2.4-2.5GHz positioning
Expanding its range of flexible FPC antennas, Antenova has announced two positioning antennas: Bentoni and Asper. Bentoni is a positioning antenna for GPS, GLONASS, Beidou and GALILEO, while Asper integrates a 1559-1609MHz antenna with a 2.4-2.5GHz antenna for positioning applications with wireless connectivity. Both antennas offer high performance and maintain good isolation in situ within a device.
GPS and GNSS for small consumer devices and wearables
Antenova, a manufacturer of antennas and RF antenna modules for M2M and the Internet of Things, has released two new modules for GPS and GNSS. Both provide a drop-in receiver solution - a neat way to add a location capability to very small consumer devices. The modules are based on the popular MediaTek processor.
Surface mount antenna suitable for LTE, cellular & MIMO systems
Antenova announces the arrival of Lucida - an SMD antenna for all LTE applications, including MIMO systems. The antenna is fully tested and ready to ship from now. LTE is the fastest developing mobile system technology ever. While the current majority of LTE user devices operate in the 700 MHz band, which has been heavily driven by the U.S. market, rollout of LTE networks in other regions now requires devices to operate in the LTE frequency bands...
