The demonstration of the partners’ latest optical communications test equipment platform takes place at OFC 2016 in Anaheim, California (March 22-24) on the Teledyne LeCroy stand.
Anritsu demonstrates 1 Gb/s LTE-A throughput
Anritsu announces it has successfully demonstrated peak throughput for an LTE-Advanced (LTE-A) device and network simulator using 3x Carrier Aggregation (3CA) and 4x4 MIMO with 256QAM modulation. Utilising devices featuring the new Qualcomm Snapdragon X16 LTE modem, a product of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated, and the Anritsu MD8430A LTE Simulator, Anritsu is able to successfully show support for stable IP-layer...
Collaboration produces flexible SAR testing solution for wireless devices
The MT8820C Radio Communication Analyser from Anritsu now integrates with both DASY6 and cSAR3D from Schmid & Partner Engineering AG (SPEAG) to provide seamless Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) compliance testing that significantly reduces assessment costs and maximises flexibility.
Signalling tester plays key role in Taiwan's WLAN roll out
Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) and Anritsu are collaborating on Taiwan’s WLAN Offload field implementation using the Anritsu MD8475A Signalling Tester, under the support of the “Accelerating Mobile Broadband Service and Industry Development — Construct the testing environments for 4G+ network access and application” plan by the Department of Industrial Technology (DoIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs ...
5G, LTE-A Pro test solutions showcased at MWC 2016
At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona (Feb 22-25), Anritsu will be demonstrating a range of key product and technologies in its test and measurement portfolio that support the latest 3GPP and IoT technology developments and network deployments. In particular they will be focusing on some of the emerging test and measurement issues within 5G, LTE-A Pro, Connected Home and M2M device testing.
Measurement software packages enhance IoT/M2M test
Three new measurements software packages expand the functions of Anritsu’s Universal Wireless Test Set MT8870A to support manufacturing tests of IoT/M2M applications. With these new releases, Anritsu has added support for 802.11p, Bluetooth DLE, and Z-Wave to its measurement software product line for the MT8870A, covering a frequency range from 10MHz to 6GHz.
5G capabilities to the fore in Barcelona
At Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2016 in Barcelona (Feb 22-25), Anritsu will be showing its extensive capabilities in supporting the industry development of 5G networks, with a range of technologies and research activities across the whole spectrum of network architecture, air interface, network access and service assurance.
Waveguide mixer supports V-Band mmW measurement
A High Performance Waveguide Mixer, the MA2806A, which expands millimeter-wave measurement solutions has been introduced by Anritsu. Connecting the new MA2806A to Anritsu’s Signal Analyser MS2830A supports spectrum measurements in the 50GHz to 75GHz band (V-band) currently used by various millimeter-wave sensors, WiGig Gigabit Wireless LAN (802.11ad), and broadcast video camera streaming equipment.
