It has been announced by Analog Devices that they are releasing the Power by Linear LTM4678 dual 25A or single 50A step down µModule regulator, with PMBus digital interface. By stacking and exposing its two inductors on top of BGA package, the LTM4678 uses the inductors as heat sinks to transfer heat from inside, keeping the device cool.
Self-calibrating energy metering IC
It has been announced that Analog Devices (ADI) has introduced an energy metering IC with auto calibration for single-phase energy measurement applications. The new ADE9153A uses mSure technology to automatically calibrate the measurement system, significantly reducing calibration time, labour and equipment costs.
150V step down DC/DC controller draws only 9µA
The recently introduced Power by Linear LTC3894, from Analog Devices is a high voltage step down DC/DC controller that draws only 9µA quiescent current with the output enabled in Burst Mode operation. Analog Devices has announced production release of its 44GHz single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) switches, the ADRF5024 and ADRF5025 in advanced Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) technology.
