Amantys will demonstrate how the successful implementation of its Power Insight communications and monitoring protocol over fibre optic links can enhance the lifetime of plastic fibre optic cables by optimising the transceiver transit power. The demonstration will take place on the Amantys stand 523 at PCIM Asia from 17-19th June 2014.

An IGBT gate driver that can operate at 3.3kV, 4.5kV and 6.5kV, with significantly improved reliability and protection in high power modules was launched at PCIM 2014 by UK-based Amantys. The device targets demanding applications including wind turbines, locomotive, HVDC, and industrial drives.
