Trade spats jolt German sensor market in Q1 2019

Trade conflicts have hit sensor sales in Germany. The AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement reported a one per cent decline in sales in the first quarter of 2019, a disappointing outcome following 2018’s 10% growth in revenue, as compared to the previous quarter.

German sensor and measurement sector optimistic for 2017

Members of the AMA Association for Sensors and Measurement (AMA) anticipate a further market growth in revenue of five per cent and plan to invest another five per cent, compared to 2016. Last year, the sensor and measurement industry generated a cumulated growth in turnover of four percent standing out from other sectors of manufacturing industry which stagnated.
