Support tools aid Human Machine Interface design

Engineers designing Human Machine Interfaces can now turn to Alpha Micro Components which is offering a comprehensive suite of additional support tools using  FTDI Chip Embedded Video Engine (EVE) technology. WiFi, ISM solutions on parade at RF/Wireless Design Forum

GNSS positioning module achieves -160dBm sensitivity

A standalone GNSS positioning module introduced by Alpha Micro Components is claimed to be the smallest on the market. The EVA-7M from u-blox is designed for high volume consumer and low- end commercial cost- and space-sensitive applications. The highly integrated 7 x 7 x 1.1mm LGA module comprises all necessary components, including crystal and passives. Users need only add an antenna for instant global positioning capability.
