Alvium camera series nominated for Embedded Award 2019
It has been announced that Allied Vision's camera series for Industrial Embedded Vision has been nominated for the Embedded Award in the Embedded Vision category. A jury of industry experts selected the innovative camera module, powered by the ALVIUM technology developed by Allied Vision, for the nomination.
Cameras with Sony IMX sensors support triggering over Ethernet
With a firmware update, Allied Vision has extended the feature set of the Mako G cameras equipped with Sony Pregius CMOS sensor. The Mako G-040, Mako G-158, Mako G-234, Mako G-319 as well as Mako G-507 now support IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol (PTP) support and action commands for triggering the camera via the Ethernet connection (ToE).

With the introduction of two new models incorporating second generation Sony IMX CMOS sensors with Pregius global shutter pixel technology, Allied Vision has expanded its Manta camera family. The Manta G-158 incorporates the IMX273 sensor, offering a resolution of 1.58MP and a frame rate of 75.3fps at full resolution. Embedded vision cameras on show at embedded world 2018
At this year's embedded world in the Exhibition Centre Nuremberg from 27th February to 1st March 2018, Allied Vision is participating for the first time as an exhibitor. In hall 4A, at booth 531, the camera manufacturer will be presenting live demonstrations of how image processing can be integrated into embedded systems.
