IBASE Reveals I-VC5 Multifunctional Fanless In-Vehicle Computing System Based on the Intel Atom Processor N450

The IBASE I-VC5 is designed with intelligent power management that supports 12V and 24V power inputs and is compatible with all types of vehicles, including motorcycle, cars, vans, buses and trucks. I-VC5 comes with eight serial ports firmly attached with two screws for anti-vibration. It can be connected to 4-CH camera for video capture and stores data using a removable hard disk drive. A variety of display interfaces are built in - VGA CRT supporting standard LCD monitors and LVDS that operates with a USB proprietary touch display controller for easy user operation.

The I-VC5 can be integrated with solutions and tools such as infotainment, navigation, tracking, high-speed 3G internet access, database access, incident reporting and fleet management. It is suitable for use in police patrol cars, fire engines, cabs, couriers, cabinet trucks and buses where mobile data terminals are installed. Dimensions of the unit are 207.8mm(W) x 224.7mm(D) x 70mm(H).
