They aim to make sure that handsets support a defined set of NFC-related features and are be interoperable with corresponding contactless devices.

Hajo Sandschneider, Director of Marketing and Product Management at COMPRION explains: “These are conformance tests for mobile phones supporting features such as Secure Element API (including SEAC), Android specific API, Multiple Card Emulation Environments, NFC Service remote administration as well as NFC tag reading and writing.”

COMPRION is the test tool provider offering the highest number of test cases for NFC related work items. Sandschneider states “We cover hundred percent of the tests identified as first priority by GCF. This means that companies that want to be fully compliant to the GSMA NFC Handset Test Book can rely on COMPRION.”
