Laird Technologies Releases Industry-First Indoor 2-Port LTE MIMO Antenna
Laird Technologies, Inc. today announced the release of the first-to-market CMD69273 LTE MIMO 2-port omnidirectional celling mount antenna solution for the In-Building Wireless (IBW) industry. As the latest innovation in successful wireless deployment, the CMD69273 offers a complete cellular solution for 3G and 4G data communications. Optimized for indoor requirements, the antenna increases the throughput/capacity of cellular, UMTS and LTE/WiMAX wireless voice and data standards operating in the 698 to 960 MHz and 1710 to 2700 MHz frequency bands.
“TFeaturing two oriented radiating elements, the antenna provides a specifically shaped pattern that optimizes performance and maximizes coverage using a ceiling mount location. The elements also include linear horizontal/vertical polarization components that address multipath polarization propagation issues found in indoor environments. Additional features of the CMD69273 include a low profile, aesthetically neutral housing made with UL 94 VO materials and a flush mount allowing easy attachment to a ceiling tile.
