Provertha’s D-Sub connector range offers customised products for customers who increasingly request adapted solutions for their projects.

Provertha has been manufacturing D-Sub connectors for over 25 years, consistently developing and expanding the portfolio offered – including the acquisition of the TMC D-Sub product family from ERNI, a solutions provider on the cable and PCB side.

Solder pin and hand soldering connections for increased voltage requirements

For a manufacturer of handling systems – the appropriate contacts were selected from the modular system of the Provertha D-Sub range with various stamping and injection moulding tools for different connection types, and modifications to insulators with an increase in air gaps and creepage distances were implemented.

Special D-Sub with straight press-fit connection for space-saving installation

For a manufacturer of hospital communication products – Provertha customised a press-fit D-sub with a installation height of 5.7mm and a special colour. The product was tailored by modifying an insulator to the lower installation height, in combination with the housing colour for their application and selecting a matching press-fit contact.

Application-specific housing modification for Quick Lock D-Sub hoods

For a manufacturer of energy storage systems –  a secure self-locking cable-cable connection that can be repeatedly locked and unlocked in seconds was realised for the interlinking of energy storage racks, in a rack system using Provertha's Quick Lock push-pull quick-locking system. In addition, a modification to the housing enabled simple, quick wall mounting. It has a UL-certified cable assembly with pre-assembled cables for direct installation in the rack system, meaning a cost-efficient product for the customer.

Provertha will continue to offer application-specific D-Sub products for customers and will specifically tailor D-Sub products to the customer's applications
