Molex demonstrates Brad software development kits at Hanover Fair
During this year’s Hanover Fair, Molex Incorporated will show the full capability of its Brad® Ethernet protocol development kits for PROFINET and EtherNet/IP.
At the PROFIBUS partner booth (Hall 9, Stand D05/2) Molex will demonstrate its PROFINET IO-Device stack’s trouble-free portability by running it on an Apple iPad connected to a Siemens S7-300 controller. The iPad application will simulate a Molex IP67 PROFINET I/O module where it is possible to start and stop the stack, read inputs and write outputs and generate alarms.
The Brad Ethernet Development Kits support any kind of hardware platform and is compatible with operating systems (real-time or not), including Windows®, VxWorks, QNX, or LinuxRT implementing multithread user applications. The deliverable development kit package includes: C-source-code, electronic documentation, and samples of implementation in various OS.
