ITT Interconnect Solutions to exhibit latest Trinity MKJ and Nemesis connector ranges at Eurosatory in Paris on stand J681
Leading global connector manufacturer and supplier, ITT Interconnect Solutions, will be showcasing two of its latest product families at Eurosatory International, the specialist defence exhibition to be held in Paris from 14 – 18 June at VIPARIS Nord, Villepinte Exhibition Centre.
On sThis year, ITT is adding four new MKJ configurations to complement its five existing signal layouts: 9-4 power layout to address higher amperage requirements; and 8-13, 10-26, and 15-55, 5A signal layouts. Additional shell/coupling styles will include: MKJ3 Bayonet coupling for quick twist mating and de-mating; MKJ5 triple start thread for quick, secure mating and de-mating; and stainless steel MKJ1 versions for superior corrosion protection. Accessories now also include: contact and shield termination tooling; straight and 90° backshells; heat shrink boots and metal dust caps.
ITT Interconnect Solutions’ will also show its Nemesis SC miniature connectors at Eurosatory. Lightweight and fully sealed to IPI67 the devices also feature a patented pull-back barrel system which facilitates cleaning but allows a return to full operational functionality in seconds. Weighing less than 25g and measuring less than 15mm in diameter, Nemesis connectors are designed for command, control, communications and modern “future soldier” applications.
The new Nemesis Water Tight (WT) connector is fully sealed in the unmated condition (> 20m) and weighs less than 30g a mated pair. Utilizing ITT’s proven micro twist pin gold plated contacts with a durability rating of 2,500 cycles, the WT connectors are blind mateable. The WT is available in Snap-on/Breakaway and Push Pull couplings.
Nemesis High Mating (HM) & Super Clean (SC) feature ITT’s innovative Pogo Pin/Pad and Breakaway technologies, which are designed to increase the maximum number of mating cycles to 10,000.
The future dismounted soldier sector is increasingly using advanced technology to equip its infantry, and sophisticated command, control, communications, computer and intelligence (C41) systems are being deployed that require interconnection, the new Nemesis connector series meets and exceeds the interconnection requirements of these systems.
