Space–saving connector families from Harwin featured on Element14 Interconnect Community Group

Harwin is featuring on the Interconnect Community Group within Farnell’s Element 14 Electronic Engineering social networking site. Visitors to the microsite will discover a wealth of information on Harwin’s space-saving Mix-Tek Datamate and M40 products.

Designed for automated SMT assembly, Harwin’s fine pitch 1mm M40 pin headers and sockets feature a small PCB footprint and durable, dual beam contact system with a 0.75A current rating. The Mix-Tek Datamate connectors enable signal (up to 3A) and power (up to 20A) contacts to be configured within the same body shell, effectively providing two connectors in one. A number of standard configurations are available off-the-shelf.
