ROLEC's new plastic enclosures
ROLEC, a manufacturer of industrial electronic enclosures, is presenting two premium lines of IP-rated plastic housings – technoPLUS and technoDISC.
The pole-mountable technoPLUS is well-suited for outdoor settings, IIoT, measurement and hubs, while technoDISC is tailored for instrumentation, measurement and marine electronics. Its unique round design is particularly suitable for environments like pipework.
Both series offer 'lid closed' installation to safeguard the seal and electronics in harsh conditions. The lid is recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad, front plate, or product label.
The versatile technoPLUS (IP 66, IP 67, IP 69K) can be mounted horizontally or vertically on a pole or mast using an attachment. Retaining supports keep the lid secure when open. Internally, screw bosses facilitate the installation of PCBs, mounting plates, and terminal rails.
The stylish technoDISC (IP 66, IP 67) is based on a wristwatch-like shape. Its long, curved sides complement the circular central operating area, with two short, flat sides for cable glands. Inside, screw pillars on the base and lid allow for the installation of PCBs, mounting plates, and assemblies. Lid retaining straps are available as additional accessories.
Both enclosures are moulded from UV-stable plastics: ASA (UL 94 HB) for technoPLUS and a durable ASA+PC (UL 94 V-0) blend for technoDISC. The standard colour for each enclosure is light grey (similar to RAL 7035) with anthracite (RAL 7016) covers to conceal the screws.
ROLEC offers technoPLUS in five sizes (90 x 130 x 70 mm to 170 x 270 x 90 mm) and technoDISC in four sizes (97 x 110 x 55 mm to 179 x 190 x 90 mm).
Mounting plates and cable glands are available as accessories for both ranges. Additionally, supporting rails are provided for technoPLUS.
ROLEC can supply both models fully customised with CNC machining, bespoke colours, printing/engraving of legends and logos, EMC shielding, and assembly.
