Keypad Enclosures from OKW

Two versions are offered: TEKBOX-SLANT with a deep keypad area and TEKBOX-SLOPE with a wide keypad area. External dimensions are 94 x 160 x 36 mm and 160 x 94 x 36 mm respectively. The enclosures are moulded in off-white or black ABS (UL 94 HB) and have modern textured finish. The compact design is ideal for holding in the hand or locating on a desk next to other equipment.

The sloping top moulding is recessed for secure location of a membrane keypad or a polycarbonate product label. The SLANT versions are available with or without a battery compartment which will accept one 9V cell or two 1.5V AA cells. Access to the compartment is via a clip-on lid. Contacts for the AA cells are included, a 9V battery lead is offered as an accessory.

PCB mounting pillars are provided in the top and base, and assembly is by four self-tapping screws. Special colours can also be moulded on demand. Prices start at under £10.
