Enclosures provide high performance IP 65 protection

Typical applications will include electronic and electrical control systems, switch boxes, medical equipment, monitoring devices, machine controllers, security electronics etc.

A key feature of the ‘SNAPTEC’ design is the strong and reliable clip-on lid moulding, which is easily fitted, and can also be removed with a small flat screw driver, or the nylon key supplied. Other design features include a recessed area for mounting membrane keypads or product labels, hidden wall-mounting points, and integrated screw pillars for fixing Din-Rails, PCBs or mounting plates.

‘SNAPTEC’ cases are moulded in ABS (UL 94 HB) in industry standard light grey, RAL 7035. The cases can be loaded up to 20kg and are sealed up to IP 65 by a pre-fitted gasket in the lid. Three sizes are available: 60 x 60 x 40 mm, 60 x 100 x 40 mm and 100 x 100 x 80 mm.

OKW can supply the ‘SNAPTEC’ cases with additional holes for push-buttons, connectors and displays etc., plus silk-screen printed legends and logos, and EMC shielding. The cases can also be moulded or painted in alternative colours.
