Featuring a hidden mounting bracket for swift installation and added security, the aluSMART aluminium enclosure range has been introduced by ROLEC. Similar to ROLEC’s tried and trusted aluCLIC range (which has click-to-fit mounting), the new range offers the added strength of the concealed screw-in bracket.

The enclosures are rated to IP 67 for a wide range of demanding industrial electronics applications. ‘Go anywhere’ installation means they can be fitted to wall, bulkheads and machines. IP 69K protection can be specified as an option, making aluSMART a great choice for food, pharmaceutical and agricultural environments where equipment undergoes frequent washing down using high pressure, high temperature cleaners.

Features include a recessed lid to accommodate a membrane keypad or product label. All aluSMART cases can be installed ‘lid closed’ to maintain seal integrity and protect the electronics inside. The V2A stainless steel mounting bracket hidden on the underside is fixed with four screws.

ROLEC’s aluSMART range is available in three sizes (130x90x70; 160x110x70; 200x130x70mm) – all in Light Grey (RAL 7035) powder coat as standard. Prices start at £56.

Options include a corrosion-proof coating and EMC shielding. ROLEC also offers a wide range of customising services: CNC machining (drilling, milling, tapping), wet painting, powder coating, printing and engraving or legends and logos, membrane keypad mounting and component assembly.
