Availability and full design support capabilities have been announced by Richardson RFPD for two evaluation boards from Analog Devices (ADI). The EVAL-ADuM4121 evaluation board supports ADI’s ADuM4121/ADuM4121-1 single-channel gate drivers with an integrated Miller clamp. ADI’s iCoupler technology provides isolation between the input signal and the output gate driver.

The ADuM4121 provides operation with voltages of up to 35 V. The integrated Miller clamp activates on the falling edge of an edge transition to further clamp the output low to counteract Miller turn-on effects.

The evaluation board facilitates testing of the propagation delay, drive strength, Miller clamp functionality and input logic of the device.

It is designed for switching power supply, isolated IGBT/MOSFET gate driver, industrial inverter, and gallium nitride (GaN)/silicon carbide (SiC) power device applications.

The EVAL-ADuM4135 supports the ADuM4135 advanced isolated gate driver.

Because the evaluation board has footprints for IGBTs and MOSFETs in TO-252, TO-220, and 0.100”-spaced lead packages, the ADuM4135 can be evaluated with many different power devices.

The EVALADuM4135EBZ comes with footprints to facilitate evaluating the desaturation detection, as well as the Miller clamp operation.

The ADUM4135 is designed for MOSFET/IGBT gate driver, PV inverter, motor drive and power supply applications.
