The audio pHAT boards deliver high-quality audio, playback control, and LCD screens in a fully assembled solution compatible with all Raspberry Pi models with a 40-pin GPIO header.

Shipped with custom Pirate Audio software and a simple installer, the board enables developers of all skill levels to easily set up and begin listening to streaming music or to local audio files in MP3, FLAC, or other formats.

The PIM485 Audio Speaker board is a compact, all-in-one sound system that features a miniature mono 1W speaker, Maxim MAX98357A I²S digital-to-audio converter (DAC), amplifier, high-resolution display, and playback control buttons.
For a little more power, the PIM484 3W Stereo Amp combines two MAX98357A DACs to provide 3W output per channel. In addition to push-fit terminals for connecting external speakers, the board includes a switch for stereo/mixed-down mono modes.
The PIM483 Audio Line-Out board allows developers to upgrade existing hi-fi amps, speakers, and powered monitors with clean 24-bit/192 KHz digital audio.
