Board enables simultaneous complex motion & vision processes
A workstation grade PICMG 1.3 system host board, supported by 4th gen Intel Xeon E3-1200 v3, Core i3, Pentium and Celeron processors, has been released by ADLINK Technology. Offered in a LGA1150 package, the NuPRO-E72 supports DDR3 1600 memory up to 16GB with ECC support.
The board features configurable native PCIe x16 Gen3, PCle x4 and conventional PCI slots, making it suitable for industrial automation applications, such as AOI, PCB inspection and SMT industries. Maximum data bandwidth for high-speed graphics cards is provided by multiple native PCIe Gen3 expansion, enabling multiple simultaneous complex motion and vision processes.
To meet the requirements of industrial automation applications, the NuPRO-E72 provides a variety of expansion slots, enabling function enhancement and easier system integration. Combined with optional WBP-13E4 backplane, the board is an optimum solution for automation environments requiring multiple native PCIe gen 3 slots in a 4U rackmount system. For frame grabbers, digitisers, and high-resolution dynamic signal acquisition and generation modules, the PCIe x16 expansion slot can be configured as one PCIe x8 and two PCIe x4 Gen 3 slots. The PCIe x16 expansion slot can also be configured as one PCIe x4 Gen 2 and seven PCI slots for motion capture and I/O ports, and instant implementation of machine vision and industrial automation operations.
The NuPRO-E72 features six USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, six COM ports (five RS-232, one RS-232/422/485 with auto flow control) and four SATA 6Gb/s supported RAID 0, 1, 5, 1+0 by Intel Rapid Storage Technology. For vision inspection applications, the board can be used with ADLINK’s PCIe-HDV62A, PCIe-GIE64+ and PCIe-RTV24 motion/vision cards.
