More than 100 submissions for the embedded award
For the 20th time, outstanding innovations from the field of embedded system technologies will be honoured with the embedded award at the embedded world Exhibition&Conference.
A five-member jury has evaluated more than 100 submissions. Three nominees have now been chosen in each of the eight categories. The award ceremony will take place on 9 April 2024 as a networking event at the exhibition.
"Not only the large number of submissions, but also their high quality gave us jury members quite a few headaches. But it is fascinating to see how innovations are being successfully driven forward across all disciplines in the embedded systems world. The incomparably strong submissions from the many start-ups in the industry are particularly noteworthy," emphasised jury chairman Prof. Axel Sikora.
With this year’s 109 submissions, the three-digit figure has been reached for the first time. "I am extremely pleased that we have once again surpassed the all-time high from the previous year," says a delighted Prof. Sikora.
New: Presentation of the community choice award
The community choice award will be presented for the first time in 2024. "First level decision-making for the embedded award is the responsibility of the expert jury. However, since the embedded community is very active, we wanted to include more of its members and give them the opportunity to vote for their favourite from among the nominees. That was the birth of the 'community choice award'," explains Benedikt Weyerer, Executive Director of embedded world.
