Mouser-backed Formula E Team heads to London for season finale
Mouser Electronics, the New Product Introduction (NPI) pioneer empowering innovation, is excited to cheer on the DS PENSKE Formula E racing team in London, UK, for the final two rounds of the ABB FIA Formula E World championship.
Round 15 is set for 20th July, while round 16 on 21st July 21 will close out the 2024 season.
The DS PENSKE team will be heading across the pond to London coming off a strong showing at the team’s US race, the Portland E Prix, where 2022 World Champion Stoffel Vandoorne finished P9 and two-time Formula E Champion Jean-Éric Vergne finished on the podium in P3 for round 13. Vergne also clinched the pole position in round 14 and is now the all-time Julius Baer Pole Position winner with 17 starts from P1. The races in London will be held at the London ExCel Circuit, which is an indoor-outdoor track with a variety of racing surfaces that the drivers must navigate. The circuit is 2.09km in length with 20 turns. The racing will start inside on a silky-smooth surface and then transition outside, where the track becomes much rougher with the highly abrasive asphalt that surrounds the exhibition centre. With an incline, a decline, and a change in lighting, the final two races of the season are sure to produce a unique challenge for the entire field.
Currently, the DS PENSKE team is third in the season-long championship with 184 points, and both drivers are in the top 10 in the individual driver standings.
Mouser is supporting the DS PENSKE team for the globe-trekking 2024 season in collaboration with TTI and valued manufacturers Molex and KYOCERA AVX. Mouser and Molex have been partnering to sponsor Formula E racing since 2015.
