Vishay to exhibit Industry-Leading Innovations at Techno-Frontier 2013
Vishay will be exhibiting its latest semiconductors and passive components in booth 1D-207 at Power System Japan, a focused exhibition on power systems at Techno-Frontier 2013, being held at the Tokyo Big Sight from July 17 to 19, 2013. Vishay will be highlighting industry-leading innovations across all of its product lines that provide increased efficiency and reliability for a wide range of applications.
At TVishay Semiconductors will be featuring a variety of diodes, including 45 V to 120 V TMBS Trench MOS Barrier Schottky rectifiers in the SMPD package; Gen2 650 V FRED Pt Ultrafast diodes for electric vehicles, UPS, and solar inverters; and FRED Pt Hyperfast and Ultrafast recovery rectifiers. In addition, Vishay Semiconductors will highlight optoelectronics products such as SurfLight high-power infrared surface emitters; fully integrated proximity sensors with digital output; and 1 mA and 5 mA input current optocouplers.
Passive components from Vishay will consist of a wide variety of the company’s latest capacitors, resistors, and inductors. Highlighted resistors will include Vishay Dale Power Metal Strip resistors with high power density and high-temperature capabilities to +275 °C for harsh environments, in addition to high-current Power Metal Strip shunts for power meter and battery management applications.
Featured capacitors will include Vishay Sprague Micro Tan automotive-grade solid tantalum chip capacitors in the industry's smallest case sizes; Vishay ESTA power electronics capacitors; and Vishay Vitramon safety-certified multilayer ceramic chip capacitors. Vishay Dale will be showcasing inductors such as low-profile, high-current IHLP devices for automotive applications, and high-temperature through-hole inductors for desktops and servers.
In addition, Vishay will be offering two demonstrations in its booth at Techno-Frontier 2013. Vishay Siliconix will be demonstrating the increased efficiency provided by its 600 V and 650 V E Series power MOSFETs. Vishay Semiconductors will be providing a system demonstration that highlights the low forward voltage and fast turn-on times of TMBS rectifiers, and high impedance and reduced signal loss of low CJ TVS.
