UR Group forms partnership with Metalink

Metalink’s wireless LAN and DSL technologies enable true broadband connectivity in every home, through cost-effective, very high-speed delivery of advanced applications. This is achieved through the implementation of Metalink’s WLANPlus, a high-throughput wireless LAN technology which is 5-10 times faster than currently available wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g/n technologies.

Featuring MIMO technology adopted by the 802.11n standard, utilising advanced coding (LDPC), packet aggregation and channel bonding, WLANPlus provides the foundation for a wireless entertainment network that enables full home coverage for simultaneous, multiple, high-definition video streams.
