Only weeks after a team of three students from the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven were awarded first place and $10,000 USD for their innovative key vital signs remote monitoring project at Electronica 2012 in Munich, Germany, Texas Instruments announces the opening of its Texas Instruments European Analog Design Contest for 2013, co-sponsored by Mouser Electronics.
The TI European Analog Design Contest is an initiative to encourage system-level design within universities. It is an opportunity for undergraduate and master’s students to show creativity and engineering skills while working on a design project using TI’s broad range high-performance analog and embedded processing ICs. The TI European Analog Design Contest allows students to gain experience and recognition in the analog field, as well as compete against other students for cash prizes.

The Analog Design Contest is hosted by TI’s European University Program, founded in 1994. The program seeks to encourage young talent to innovate in the areas of system design leveraging analog and embedded processing building blocks. TI’s European University Program supports more than 1,000 universities in Europe that offer classes in the fields of electronics and electrical engineering or computer science.
