Three added to SL Power's European team
SL Power Electronics Corporation, the company established following the merger of Condor DC Power and Ault, announces the appointment of three key new members to its European team. All are based at the company’s European Headquarters in the United Kingdom.
Joining as Distribution Manager with responsibility for SL Power’s European distribution network, Melanie O’Conner is well known throughout the power supply industry thanks to her previous roles with Gresham Power, Puls and Craftec/Powerbox. Craftec has been a Condor and Ault distributor for several years and, as such, Melanie is well acquainted with the technological leadership and price/performance advantages offered by the SL Power product portfolio.
Phil Ducker, SL Power’s new OEM Sales Manager, joins the company from Craftec/Powerbox and, like Melanie, has wide experience of the Condor/Ault product range. Phil’s previous experience includes time with Sun Power and Powertron.
As SL Power’s new Research and Development Engineer, Andy Wheele will be helping those European customers who need something more than a standard product. His experience, gained during more than 20 years with Coutant Lambda, will enable him to work with customers to develop customer specific solutions using products from SL Power’s extensive internal and external power sources range as the basis.
Commenting on the appointments, SL Power’s European Managing Director Nigel Davies said, “The appointment of three such high profile individuals is great news for SL Power and its customers and is further evidence of our total commitment to the European market. It is just over a year since we established our European HQ in the UK as Condor. Now, as SL Power Electronics and with the addition of the Ault product range, we have the necessary technical and sales team to fully support our European customers.”
