The industry’s top get-together grows again
embedded world, the biggest and most important event of its kind, opens the series of high-tech exhibitions and special-interest, knowledge-packed events at the Nürnberg venue every year. It also sets standards and records every year – even in 2010, despite the difficult economic conditions. In terms of the internationality of exhibitors, the embedded industry’s number 1 has improved again by a good 17 %. In addition, many new companies have decided to exhibit at the industry highlight. The current share of new exhibitors is already above 10 %. There are also many other new features at embedded world: the ARTEMIS Spring Event takes place on 1–2 March parallel to the exhibition and conference, and the German association ZVEI supports embedded world for the first time. The embedded world STUDENT DAY also celebrates its premiere on the last day of the exhibition with a star from the embedded community.
The “embedded world has the right concept. This is emphatically confirmed by the exhibiting companies’ great commitment to the embedded world Exhibition&Conference and the number of new exhibitors from all over the world. It is also clearly shown by the commitment of ARTEMIS, ZVEI and the participants and speakers at the conferences. And last but not least, the great interest of the students and German universities in the premiere of the STUDENT DAY, which takes place on the last day of this year’s exhibition.
Although it is not a matter of course, embedded world is growing and I am sure this event will be one of the most successful ever in Nürnberg,” says a very confident Alexander Mattausch, Exhibition Director of the embedded world Exhibition&Conference at NürnbergMesse. This means embedded world is undoubtedly the top platform for the international embedded community to source information and exchange views at a high level. All the market leaders are there again in 2010. According to Mattausch, the number of exhibitors will exceed the previous year’s figure. “embedded world is a constant, a permanent feature in the exhibition calendar, is clearly focused, and not just any variable,” as Mattausch aptly comments.
